Thank you for your interest in serving with Chair Senator Patty Murray's Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee staff! We are currently accepting applications for virtual Health policy internships, Disability policy internships, and Oversight clerkships for the summer of 2021 (June - August). The program offers undergraduate, graduate, med students, and law students an experience to learn about the committee and the legislative process as a whole. Intern responsibilities include, but are not limited to: assisting Committee staff in performing administrative duties, conducting research, analyzing legislation, drafting memorandums, and assisting in remote hearings. Interns and law clerks play a key role and will work closely with policy advisors. This internship will be virtual due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and selected interns will be provided with Senate equipment to complete their internship with the committee.
