Senator Coons would like to provide a letter of recommendation to exceptional, hardworking, and impressive students who are applying to college. This opportunity is for individuals who would be first generation college students, have participated in an enrichment program during their secondary education, or have overcome tragic circumstances and are looking to continue their education.
The ideal candidates are students who have excelled in the classroom and have also worked to give back to their school or community. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required to apply. Select applicants will be invited to participate in a panel interview as part of the second round in the process. Finalist will then go on to meet in-person with the Senator for a one-on-one interview.
The recommendation letter from the Senator will be submitted based on the college's application submission policy.
