The application for the Ed Greelegs scholarship is open to students who have already completed an application for an internship or law clerkship in one of Senator Durbin's offices. If you have not already completed an internship or law clerk application please do so before continuing on.
Senator Durbin offers an internship program for undergraduate students of all majors, and graduate and law students who are interested in experiencing the day-to-day operations of a Senator's office.
Ed Greelegs Scholars will perform legislative research, constituent services, and complete general office support duties along with Senator Durbin’s Illinois and Washington, D.C., staff. Intern schedules are based on each student’s days and hours of availability.
Students MUST complete an internship or law clerk application before applying for the Ed Greelegs scholarship.
