Thank you for your interest in the internship program for United States Senator Rob Portman of Ohio.
Internships in the Washington, DC as well as Columbus, Cincinnati, Cleveland, and Toledo, Ohio offices of Senator Portman offer college-aged students an exciting introduction to the U.S. Senate and the workings of a Senate office. Internships are designed primarily for students who have completed at least one full year of collegiate coursework and preference is given to students who are residents of Ohio.
We are currently accepting applications for the Fall of 2021. At this time, health environment permitting, it is our intention to have a modified in person intern program for the fall. However, due to the on-going pandemic, these plans may need to be modified as we move in to the fall. Fall interns will work on a staggered schedule between two and five days each week, as agreed upon by the Intern Coordinator.
