U.S. Senator John Fetterman seeks a Digital Manager to join a fast paced and creative communications team and manage digital strategy for his office. This role is based in Washington D.C. and is responsible for overseeing the Senator’s social media presence, executing, and editing video and content pieces in a rapid fashion, and developing a long-term digital strategy for the office.  

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, managing the Senator’s social media accounts, drafting and editing content, writing video scripts, keeping the Senator apprised of developments, staffing digital time with the Senator, and tracking the Senator’s digital engagement. Additionally, the position will update and maintain the Senator’s website and create multimedia assets, including graphics and video. 

Applicants must have a deep understanding of how digital strategies and technologies integrate into a Senator's goals, work, and communications in Washington, D.C. and in Pennsylvania—as well as how digital tools and platforms can be used to communicate and engage on complex issues to multiple audiences.  

Ideal candidates are fast, creative, think outside the box, detail-oriented, and function well as a member of a team. We are looking for someone who can maintain a sense of humor and a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment. Successful candidates will have superior organizational skills and will be a social media consumer with a passion for closely monitoring current events and breaking news. Fluency in WordPress and Adobe Creative suite and familiarity with captioning and editing videos strongly desired. Two to four years of prior digital experience is a prerequisite, and Hill and/or campaign experience is preferred. This is not an entry-level position.
