Eligible students from Wisconsin are welcome to apply. Page eligibility is limited to juniors in high school who will be 16 or 17 years old on or before the date of appointment.

The page program is a highly rewarding and educational experience.  It offers high school students the unique opportunity to witness the Senate in action firsthand.  The program is also extremely challenging.  In addition to attending classes, pages play an important role in the daily operation of the Senate.

To be eligible for the Senate page program, students must be sixteen years old and in their Junior year of high school on or before the date of appointment.  There are only 30 Senate page positions.  Not all Senators are able to appoint pages.  Therefore, the selection process for the program is highly competitive.  The Senate Majority and Minority Leaders select only a few students from the many applicants to participate in the program.

There are four regularly occurring page sessions:

  • Fall semester from early September to mid-January;
  • Spring semester from mid-January to mid-June; and
  • Two summer sessions, one in June and July, and the other in July and August.

If you have any questions regarding the Senate page program, please email Pages@baldwin.senate.gov
