The Constitution gives United States Senators the responsibility of providing advice and consent to the President on federal judicial nominations. One important part of this role is that Senators recommend individuals to the President to serve as U.S. District Court Judges.
Senators Kyrsten Sinema and Mark Kelly are currently accepting applications for candidates for the position of U.S. District Court Judge in Arizona’s federal court. Those interested in being considered for current U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona vacancies should apply by October 31, 2023.
