U.S. Senator John Fetterman, Ranking Member of the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee’s Subcommittee on Border Management, Federal Workforce, and Regulatory Affairs, seeks an experienced Professional Staff Member (PSM) to support the Subcommittee’s Homeland Security portfolio, with a specific emphasis on border operations and migration policy. Responsibilities include: developing, monitoring, and managing legislation; planning and preparing hearings; engaging with stakeholders and federal agencies; and drafting memos and talking points. This is not an entry level position. Qualified candidates must possess exceptional writing and research skills, be adept at articulating complex policies clearly and concisely, be able to prioritize competing projects, and work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Previous Hill experience and a public policy background are preferred. The annual salary for this role is $90,000.
