First Time Here?
Thank you for expressing interest in an internship with Senator Jacky Rosen’s office. Senator Rosen is excited to help students learn how representation and government work by having them participate in the work of her office on behalf of the people of Nevada.
Internships are offered to students currently enrolled in or have completed coursework at a college or university. Most internships are paid at $15/hour, or we can provide academic credits for experience. Students who are from Nevada are strongly encouraged to apply and are preferred for selection.
Interns assist staff with some administrative duties as well as substantive work (e.g. legislative research and analysis, drafting responses to constituent inquiries, and assisting staff in a variety of projects and activities).
Our office is flexible and works with students to accommodate their academic schedules. Interns can work full time (8 a.m. to 5 p.m. PST or 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. EST) or part-time, but applicants should plan for a minimum of 20 hours of availability throughout the work week.
Application deadlines are as follows:
Spring: November 15
Summer: March 15
Fall: July 15
Please email internships@rosen.senate.gov with any questions.
