The Office of U.S. Senator John Fetterman is hiring a Regional Representative to conduct community outreach in the Central Western region of Pennsylvania. This position is full time and based in Pittsburgh, PA. The Central Western Regional Representative will report to the Western Pennsylvania Regional Director.   

This staff member will be responsible for conducting community outreach in Allegheny, Westmoreland, Butler, Armstrong, Clarion and Jefferson Counties.  

This staff member will be responsible for identifying and creating opportunities for community engagement, working with the legislative and state teams to help bring federal funding opportunities to the region and planning public events and meetings. This staff member will also be responsible for staffing the Senator, representing the office at community events, and staying up to date on current events facing constituents in their region. This individual will act as a liaison to government and work with local elected officials, community groups and constituent groups to help better serve Pennsylvanians.  
 
The ideal applicant has strong ties to the assigned counties and a deep understanding of local issues and has exceptional communication skills. Ideal applicants should enjoy helping and connecting with the community. Applicants should be able to work independently and have the desire to become further involved in communities in the Commonwealth.  

The position will require frequent travel throughout the assigned region. Candidate must have their own transportation.  

The annual salary is $62,000.
