Form

Please sign in at left to fill out a form for an appropriations request.  If you have multiple requests, please submit an individual application form for each request. The application’s name must be unique and cannot be edited. If you are new to this platform you will have to create a log-in. To do so, use the "Need an account? Create one." link below the "Sign-in" button.

Appropriations Priorities

Senator Warnock is interested in hearing from you about federal funding that benefits Georgia and our nation.  Should you have specific suggestions or comments on appropriations priorities for the current appropriations process, you may submit them for consideration through this website.  These forms request detailed information that is best provided by organizations, agencies, nonprofits, and firms that are local recipients, administrators, or stakeholders of federal programmatic funding. You will need to fill out a form for each program request. Please do not submit one form for multiple requests. If you would like to make more general comments about federal programs, please do so using Senator Warnock's contact page: www.warnock.senate.gov/contact.

The full jurisdiction of each subcommittee can be viewed on the committee’s web site, www.appropriations.senate.gov. For information about prior year appropriations bills and enacted funding levels, please use: https://www.crs.gov/AppropriationsStatusTable/Index.

For your reference, the president’s budget requests are posted on this website: https://www.whitehouse.gov/omb/.  The president’s budget is normally released within first few months of each calendar year.  If the president's fiscal year 2022 budget is released prior to our application deadline, please include the relevant amount requested in president's budget in your application.

Submission Name

For submission names, please include the name of the organization you are submitting the request on behalf of and the name of the federal program -- not project -- you are requesting funding or language for. Please do not include the name of local projects as part of your submission name.

Format: [Organization] - [Program]

Deadline

For fiscal year 2022 appropriations, forms must be submitted by 6:00 p.m. EST on Monday, April 12, 2021.  Forms submitted after the deadline will be considered on a rolling basis when possible.

Earmarks

At this time, the Senate continues to follow a ban on earmarks that was instituted in 2011, and the Senate Appropriations Committee will not consider requests for earmarks.  Senator Warnock welcomes appropriations requests that demonstrably benefit our state and nation. If the Senate Appropriations Committee provides directions for Community Project Funding (CPF), we will adjust our form accordingly. You can find information about the House Appropriations Committee's rules regarding CPF requests here: https://appropriations.house.gov/appropriations-requests

Disclaimer:

The purpose of this worksheet is to identify federal programs that are important to Georgia and may need increased funding or appropriate changes the appropriations process to ensure Georgia can better compete for resources. It is important to note that funding for specific projects in a time when congressionally directed spending is very difficult.  More often than not, Congress must direct federal spending through bill or report language that describes the project or goal proposed, but cannot identify specific projects, and cannot identify specific entities.  The purpose of this form is to identify possible new initiatives, partnerships, or opportunities, as well as continue conversations on current programs. Submission of this form should not be construed as a guarantee that funding will be requested or awarded.
