An internship with the Office of U.S. Senator John Fetterman offers students a deeper understanding of public service, community engagement, and the legislative process. Competitive candidates are strong writers with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills. Successful interns are good team members, adaptable, and open to feedback. While a demonstrated interest in public service is appreciated, we value diverse experiences and backgrounds. Applicants with Pennsylvania ties are given priority.
INTERNSHIPS IN PENNSYLVANIA
Pennsylvania internships are part-time and available in the Philadelphia, Harrisburg, and Pittsburgh offices. These internships will include constituent service support, administrative work, community outreach, meeting and event participation, legislative research, and special projects. Ideal applicants should enjoy helping Pennsylvania residents, be able to work independently, and desire to become further involved in communities in the Commonwealth. Pennsylvania internships are open to undergraduate students.
Internships with Senator Fetterman's office are paid unless in conflict with degree requirements, outside stipends, or other unique circumstances. Senator Fetterman is deeply committed to fostering an office full of experiences, perspectives and walks of life.
