Thank you for your interest in obtaining a  nomination to a U.S. Service Academy from Senator Cardin.  The class of 2021 application deadline is 5PM on November 3, 2016.  There are no exceptions to this deadline.

In order to be considered for a nomination from Senator Cardin, each applicant must submit a complete application packet by the office deadline of 5PM on Thursday, November 3, 2016, be available for an interview on Thursday, December 1st or Friday, December 2nd, and meet all service academy age, citizenship, marital status and health requirements.  A complete application packet consist of the online questionnaire and all checklist items.  It is the responsibility of the applicant to be sure any items that are being mailed (e.g. standardized test scores, letters of recommendation or transcripts from sources that do not have electronic file transfer capability) are received (not postmarked) in Senator Cardin’s Baltimore Office (100 S. Charles Street, Tower 1, Suite 1710, Baltimore 21201) by 5PM on November 3, 2016.  If any items are missing from the application package after the deadline, the applicant will be withdrawn from nomination consideration.  

Interviews will be held on Thursday, December 1st and Friday, December 2nd.  Applicants for the USAFA, USMA and USMMA will interview in Senator Cardin’s Bowie office and applicants for the USNA will interview in Senator Cardin’s Baltimore office.
