Welcome to Senator Kirsten Gillibrand’s 2024 Service Academy Nomination Application.

Please complete all required sections of the questionnaire and be sure to submit all required documents before the application deadline. Questions may be directed to nominations@gillibrand.senate.gov​.

To apply for Senator Gillibrand's service academy nomination, submit the following:

1. A completed online Service Academy Nomination Application.
2. Essays: There are four short essays to write, of approximately 200 words each.
3. An official transcript from all high schools, junior colleges, or colleges you have attended. This transcript must show your final junior year grades.
4. Three letters of recommendation from people who know you well. For high school students, one of these recommendations must be from a mathematics or science teacher. Recommendations from family members are not permitted.
5. SAT / ACT scores are accepted but are not required.

Please note that you may not modify your application once it is submitted. We do not ask for and do not accept resumes.
