First Time Here?
Thank you for your interest in serving with Ranking Member Senator Patty Murray's Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee staff! We are currently accepting applications for LABOR POLICY interns and law clerks for the Spring of 2020 (January – April). The program offers undergraduate, graduate, and law students a hands-on experience to learn about the committee and the legislative process as a whole. Intern and law clerk responsibilities include, but are not limited to: assisting Committee staff in performing office duties, conducting research, analyzing legislation, drafting memorandums, and assisting with hearing preparation. Interns and law clerks play a key role in the office and will work closely with policy advisors.
Please email questions about the program to Michelle_Sanchez@help.senate.gov. If you need assistance due to the application format, contact us by email (Michelle_Sanchez@help.senate.gov) or phone (202-224-0767).
Update: 10/17/2019 - A few applicants have reported technical difficulties with submitting applications. We are currently working with OAM developers to resolve this issue. If you are experiencing technical difficulties related to "browser cookies" please email Michelle_Sanchez@help.senate.gov to apply through an alternative form. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
