First Time Here?
A clerkship or internship with the Chairman's Office of the Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs will provide students with first-hand experience in the Committee’s role in government oversight. Students will assist staff in performing research, drafting letters and memos, attend hearings, and provide general administrative support to the Committee. This is a paid position; you will be responsible for your own housing arrangements, food, and transportation. You may also seek financial assistance from outside sources. Law Clerks seeking academic credit for the semester should make arrangements with their school prior to the beginning of their clerkship. Should you have questions regarding submitting your application materials, please contact the program coordinator April Beasley at April_Beasley@hsgac.senate.gov.
